I have lived in Michigan's Upper Peninsula for my entire life, and I wouldn't have it any other way. It is a place full of Mother Nature's raw power, and when you respect that power, the beauty emerges. The cold of Lake Superior and the warmth of a ripe thimbleberry color my childhood. When I had children, I was able to share my love of adventure with them. Now, every season brings with it new ways of seeing Mother Nature. Spring, and the muddy glory of days outside without jackets, is my husband's favorite. My son prefers summer and the lazy afternoons spent in the water. My daughter can't seem to get enough of winter. She flies down the ski hills like a rocket, and even I feel the adrenaline coursing through her veins.

I also love to travel, so if you want to book a session out of the U.P., I am totally up for a road trip or a plane ride! 

Since picking up a camera for the first time to capture the Northern Lights, I've been hooked. Every photo session is an adventure. We play with the light and find places of beauty to explore. I can't wait to meet you and see what your ideas are!
